We started as collectors and players — the kind of people who still get a thrill when opening a new long box or unboxing a fresh mini.
We’re Jason and Sonya Cutcher, based in Marion, Ohio, and this is our shared dream: to create a space that celebrates the worlds we love — from the pages of comics to the tables of Dungeons & Dragons and beyond.
From eBay to Our Own Adventure
Our story began online, selling comics and collectibles on eBay to fans across the country.
We built a reputation for quality, careful packaging, and fair prices — because we believe every fan deserves great items in great condition.
Now, Playcation has grown into its own home: this website is the next step in that journey, and eventually, we’ll open a brick-and-mortar store unlike anything you’ve seen.
We’re building something special — a place that feels like a community hub for fans of all stripes, where every visit feels like rolling a natural 20.

- Condition matters. Every comic we sell is bagged, boarded, and stored in a clean, smoke- and pet-free environment.
- Fair prices matter. We keep our comics 10% below MSRP and offer flat-rate shipping of $4.95 — or free on orders over $100.
- People matter. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or picking up your first issue, we treat every order with the same care and attention.
We don’t just want customers — we want fellow fans, friends, and community members who love this stuff as much as we do.

Sonya is a passionate miniature painter and tabletop enthusiast, crafting incredible pieces for D&D, Shadows of Brimstone, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, and more.
Together, we’re building a destination where collectors, painters, and players can connect, discover, and geek out without limits.
